Dexter Richard

It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of Dexter at the age of 14 years on May 22, 2009.

Lochend Greta and Blackbrook's Shadowhawk had an exceptional puppy in Dexter, and he will be greatly missed by all of the people who had the pleasure of meeting him and being part of his life.

We loved him with all our hearts and now there is an empty feeling. Dexter brought us so much, he was a true friend whose memory we will hold dear to us until we meet again.

Dexter grew into a distinguished beauty and his mannerisms were impeccable. To us there will never be another Dexter as he was like no other dog we have ever encountered. Dexter really did not seem like a dog, was extremely intelligent and always seemed to know the right things to do at the right times. Dexter was treated by all with the utmost respect.

He became a great retriever of water toys, his favorite sport and enjoyed going on long walks with his Mom and Dad everyday until he could no longer.

We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the opportunity to find Dexter as he brought so much love and laughter to our lives and will continue to do so with his memories. Dexter knew how much he was loved and will always remain in our hearts and souls for eternity. Dexter lived a happy life that we only wish could have been longer.
